Transactional Website
The Assignment
For the third assignment in Interface and Interaction Design, I worked with Rachel Shipman and Jason Chalecki to create a transactional website involving a recipe search. After discarding our original idea, a website to help plan dinner parties, we decided to create a social networking site centered on collaborative cooking as a social endeavor.
Process Book
As a component of the assignment, we had to create a process book that documented our efforts, from first sketches to the final deliverables.
Presentation
The final presentation reviewed all the key information in our scenarios: the personas, wireframes, and mental models.
MixItUp.Com
Our fictional website, MixItUp.com, allows one to walk through the three scenarios we crafted: event search without constraints, event search with a constraint, and reviewing an event (instructions for navigating the site).
